 Parking in Southfields

Much of Southfields is now covered by Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), as this map shows, because of growing demand for its limited on-street parking space. CPZs are intended to give priority to residents and their visitors in residential streets, and to give shoppers a reasonable chance of finding somewhere to park when they visit local shops.

In residential areas of a CPZ, some parking bays may restrict parking throughout the day while others may do so for only one hour a day. In shopping areas, some parking bays may be free for a limited period while for others there may be a charge.

Visit Wandsworth Council’s Parking Service for more information on CPZs and how to apply for a permit.

CPZs do not include certain roads and parking bays on Council housing estates, which are separately controlled by Parking Regulation Schemes (PRSs).

PARKING DURING WIMBLEDON TENNIS
Special parking restrictions normally exist during the Wimbledon Tennis tournament held in June/July of each year. For more information on these restrictions during the 2005 tournament, click here.
